Message

Greetings and welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Zeta Xi Omega Chapter!

I am delighted that you have taken the time to visit our digital home. Zeta Xi Omega Chapter proudly serves Augusta, Georgia, and the surrounding CSRA as a member of the Significant South Atlantic Region. Our chapter was chartered on March 13, 1955, by sixteen visionary, college-trained women who were ready to raise the standard for service, leadership, and sisterhood—and that legacy continues to guide us today.

With a membership of more than 300 dedicated women, Zeta Xi Omega Chapter works tirelessly to implement the 2022–2026 International Program under the theme “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood.” Our work is grounded in Strengthen Our Sisterhood, our Foundation Initiative, which fortifies the bonds that sustain and support our collective mission of service.

Our five Program Initiatives extend that mission into meaningful action:

It is truly an honor to serve as President of such a dynamic and accomplished chapter during a time when leadership, advocacy, and service matter more than ever. Zeta Xi Omega Chapter stands ready to answer the call, to partner with our community, and to make a lasting impact throughout the CSRA.

2022-2026 Program Initiatives

Service and sisterhood have been the cornerstone of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since 1908. With the theme Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, the 2022-2026 administration seeks to build upon Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s rich legacy of service by galvanizing our sisterhood of more than 120,000 active members to lead on the front lines of change, education, and advocacy.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA) is an international service organization that was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 1908. It is the oldest Greek-lettered organization established by African-American college-educated women.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®- Zeta Xi Omega Chapter is a local service organization that was
founded in 1955. The chapter has been providing service to all mankind throughout the CSRA for over 60
years. The local chapter is led by President Dwanette Pullings.
